Operation Green Scheme has been implemented by the Government of India to provide transport subsidy for transport from surplus production clusters of horticultural crops (Guava, Potato, Kinnow, Pear, Pea, Carrot, Cauliflower, Litchi, Cucumber).

Punjab Agro will be the nodal agency of the state of Punjab.  In this scheme, farmers can avail freight subsidy (transport subsidy).  To avail this scheme, farmers should bring the following documents for registration at any nearby Punjab Agro’s Kinnow Grading and Waxing Centre.

  1. Aadhaar card
  2. Proof of land ownership
  3. Bank details (Cancelled cheque/ Photocopy of Passbook)

Farmers can avail benefits by contacting the below mentioned officials of Punjab Agro and collect the Performa. The Performa can also be downloaded from Punjab Agro’s official website: www.punjabagro.gov.in.
