PAIC
Supporting farmer communities by strengthening Fertilizers sales & distribution

The world’s population is growing, and we will be 9 billion people by 2050.  By then, we need to make 60% more food in the same land area. Achieving food security requires enough nutritious food available at affordable prices, at any time – wherever people live.

To help and support the farmers of Punjab, PAIC has signed an MoU with IFFCO for the sale of its products. As per the MoU, Punjab Agro has permission to sell IFFCO products and its associates in the state of Punjab.

What We Do

PAIC appoints Retail Dealers for the sale of fertilizers. In the case of subsidized fertilizers, PAIC will ensure the sale of these fertilizers amongst farming communities for agricultural purposes in the Punjab State only.

HOW TO REGISTER
  • The PAIC Head Office issues the O Form for registration to the Regional Offices of PAIC.
  • The Regional Managers will issue these forms to the proposed dealers who want to work or register with PAIC.
  • These dealers can work in marketing and selling IFFCO products and its associates.
  • The dealers will then submit these O forms to the Chief Agriculture Officers of the concerned Regional for registration.

4. Nano Urea

  • Punjab Agro, in association with IFFCO, is marketing Nano Urea (Liquid) across Punjab.
  • IFFCO Nano Urea (liquid) is the world’s first Nano- fertilizers which have been notified by Fertilizer Control Order (FCO, 1985), Government of India.
  • Tested on over 11000 farm fields on 94 crops and 20+ agricultural research institutes/universities on 43 crops.
  • Nano Urea contains 4.0 % total nitrogen (w/v). Nano nitrogen particle size varies from 20-50 nm. These particles are evenly dispersed in water.
  • Due its small size (20-50nm) and higher use efficiency (> 80 %), increases nitrogen availability to the plant.
  • Easy to use! Mix with water, and when sprayed on leaves of plants at critical growth stages, it enters through stomata and other openings and is assimilated by the plant cells. Because of phloem transport, it is distributed from the source to sink inside the plant wherever it is required. Unutilized nitrogen is stored in the plant vacuole and is slowly released for proper growth and development of the plant.
